SOUTH CAROLINA GUITAR
ALL-STATE AUDITIONS
Audition Videos are due December 1st, 2026. *REGISTRATION DEADLINE is Nov. 15
Students who participate in a high school guitar ensemble class may audition for the All-State Guitar Ensemble. Guitar Teachers must sponsor participating students and must be current SCMEA members in good standing.
The All-State ensemble is comprised of some of the most talented guitarists in the state. It is a wonderful honor for students to perform with South Carolina's finest guitar students under the direction of expert guitarists, teachers, and conductors.
Students who are chosen for the ensemble will commit to performing at the South Carolina Guitar Festival-Guitarfest on Saturday, May 1st at River Bluff High School. Students and Sponsors must attend all rehearsals and Guitarfest or otherwise forfeit their chair to an alternate participant.

ALL STATE GUITAR PERFORMANCES
Gutiarfest and Virtual Guitar Orchestra
Guitarists who are accepted into the All-State Guitar Ensemble will be featured at the State Guitar Festival called Guitarfest in May. View details below. Guitarists must attend all rehearsals, Guitarfest, and meet the recording deadlines for the Virtual Guitar Orchestra or will otherwise risk and disqualification. Alternates will be called upon in the event of any absences seen or unforeseen.
